WHEN I start a load the auto water level seems to work fine but if I open the lid to check something the water again begins to pour in and it usually fills to the highest level even though there is a small load in the washer.
Well that is unusual but I am thinking maybe there is a hole or a loose connection with the tube that goes from the tub to the water level switch.
The first thing to do is to check that out.
mine does this. according to manual that is way it works
You cannot open up the washer once it is started. The water resets and fills up. It is a poor design. I hate mine.
