bad compressor?

relay starter replaced 2 years ago. Now same problem. Repairman replaced with 3 n 1 starter relay. Started right up but lasted less than 24 hours. Compressor or ad relay? Technican says he did everything he could an it must be compressor.

For the "newer" refrigerators with less than a 1/4 horsepower compressor, the use of a 3n1 hard start kit will burn out the start winding. Also, if the run capacitor was not connected, this will cause the compressor to fail.
If you find the run capacitor missing, I would take a picture of this and show it to the guy’s boss.
Generally, the use of a hard start 3n1 kit will void the compressor warranty.

Any chance a new relay starter will fix problem? I’ll try it myself if theres a chance.

Use a URCO 410 this is for units with a run capacitor.

thanks all. Will try using repair manual from app.

The fan is running contnuously. Initially, freezer was not defrosting. I defrosted manually then replaced the defrost thermostat. That was 20 hours ago, and fan has not stopped running.

Does noone have any clue as to what this might be. I thought it would be very complicated my problems usually are never simple.
