Bake element doesn't work

Replaced bottom bake element and still having the same problem.

Only the Top element heats up.

Please help.

Phil,

Check if there is 240VAC between the wires to the Bake heating element while the control calls for Bake. If there is no proper voltage and there is nothing wrong with the wires itself then the problem is a bad control board (aka a clock). Unfortunately this part has been discontinued by GE and is no longer available.
