I noticed water around front of dishwasher. The drain pump would not turn off, even after I opened the door! Any help?
Hi dallymemally
The control on your dishwasher is sensing a water leak and forcing the drain pump to stay on. To find out were it is leaking from and fix it, the dishwasher has to be removed from the cabinet. If the dishwasher is less the 2 years old and you are the original owner then it is still under the manufacturer warranty and I would recommend to call the Bosch.

My dishwasher turns on but goes to the wash cycle and just stays there. Also hear a buzzing noise near vent in the door. When I manually press "cancel," the water pumps out, but pump doesn’t quit. Everything appears to be electronic, so I would guess that the control circuit board is goofy. Is my guess correct?
Gene: Much thanks for the feedback. When I turn it on it starts washing, as normal, but it never quits the wash cycle. If I press Cancel, it pumps the tub out and then starts to fill back up, and then quits completely.
I really appreciate your advice, and will check those teminals. Could you tell me where the hi-temp thermostat is? This whole problem started as a result of a blockage in the line that goes to the garbage disposal.
Well you might need to REMOVE the filter housing and clean it out as well as under the blower itself. Also make sure the vent to the outside is perfectly clean and clear. if all of that don’t do it then the cycling thermostat probably needs replacement.
Which is the cycling thermostat and where is it located. Thanks.
It is located on the rear of the dryer to the left side and mounted right next to the fuse.
You need to remove the filter housing and wash it out and then clean out around the inside of the blower. Then clean out the vent.
My sister has an Estate refrigerator with an ice maker. The stripper fell off and landed in the ice tray. I cannot figure out how to reattach it. It has a long tongue that fits into a slot at the back, but at the front it has two lugs that look like they should go into the plastic housing…but there isn’t any place that I can see that they would fit into. Any ideas
I’m afraid I did not get it right. Can you refer to the break down diagram?
Gene.
I have an Amana VRCF30U01C model. The blower motor on the unit outside went out. The company I called to replace the motor said they only had a universal type motor on the truck, but it would work fine.
Yesterday here at Oklahoma City it was 100 deg. the temperature in the house would not cool below 78 with the thermostat set at 74. Upon inspecting the unit I have noticed that the fan blades are about an inch below the, what I will call a cowling, which is around the inside of the coils at the top.
When you put your hand on the top where the air comes out there is not as much air being discharged as before. Some air is even being pushed outward through the fins at the top of the unit. Could my problem be that there is not enough air being pulled in through the coils and discharged through the top?
I think he installed the fan blades too far from the cowling to get a good suction to pull the right amount of air through the fins.
Where can I get a diagram showing the position of the blower fan blades in respect to the cowling?
my bosch dishwasher had the same problem.
The DW must be removed. there is a metal plate on the right side that must be removed. There are two floats, one styrofoam one in the large lower drain pan that is under the whole DW and another plastic one within a plastic holder on the side. there are two red extensions from the floats to the switch. If either one is "up" then the drain pump operates continuously regardless of the power switch. My unit had built up calcium in the small plastic float and it it got stuck in the up position. Just disassemble and clean it.
Good luck
