We have a Maytag freezer on the bottom french door model # mfd2560hes. It was given to me by my parents and does not work. When you set it in servicemode and turn on the compressor, it makes a humming sound and then turns off. I replaced the start relay and capacitor and it still makes the numming sound and turns off. I checked the resistance on the compressor and go the following readings 8.1 ohms, 3.7 ohms and 4.8 ohms. Have not check continuity to the compressor body. Does this seem like a bad compressor? Thanks for any assistance.
