I dried a load of towels yesterday and they came out fine. My wife cleaned the lint trap this morning before drying a load of clothes and noticed condensation on the inside of the dryer door. Anyone know what would cause this? Thanks in advance for the help!
Hi,
Checked the dryer duct work to make sure it’s clear of any lint build up.
The end of the dryer vent on the outside of the house should have a little flapper door or some louvers that close when the dryer is not being used.
Make sure they are closing when the dryer is not running. If they don’t close then humid air from the outside can enter the dryer when it’s not being used and the humidity from the air can condensate on the inside of the dryer.
