I ordered a timer from AppliancePartsPros. From what I have read it appears that the plastic side panels on the console should snap off to reveal the hidden screws. I have put a great deal of pressure on the side panels but cannot get them to release. What is the trick?
My dryer works fine but it squeeks really loud. Some times it will stop for a while but not everytime I use it. I was going to try and use WD40 on the belt but I cannot find the way into the drum. Can some one tell me how to get to the belt?
I am installing a replacement Ice Maker:

2.The water line to it is downline from my Water Softner but I noticed that the old Ice Maker had what appears and tastes like salt. Should I relocate the water supply line?
