I ordered a control board replacement for my mothers GE JBP78WY2 range, because the pre-heat and broiler element were not working. The part number on the control board that is being replaced is 973340204 (GE), Mod # 164D3147G007 (GE), and a Torisan Mod # of RE01CXG001CW-AA. My question is whether or not I need to install the Jumper on the replacement control board to make the broiler work.
So did you already install it without the jumper and now the broiler still don’t work?
