We are installing a new control board (part # AP2632445 (WB27X10311), To8c) for a GE range. The installation instructions show a jumper wire between two terminals. The old control panel had no jumper wire and was configured slightly different. It is not clear when or if that jumper is required for this appliance. How do we know if the jumper is needed, and what are the consequences of completing the installation without the jumper?
