Hi. I have a 2yr old Dacor cooktop that continuously sparks even when the gas controls and gas supply if off. I have tried cleaning the electrodes but the problem persists. Can anyone help me?
Check all the ignition switches and if there is nothing wrong then replace the spark module.

Thanks Gene. Your advice was excellent.
We just had a very similar issue with our 5-burner Bosch stovetop after a water spill: All igniters were continuously firing. Turning on one specific burner would stop the firing, but others would not do that.
Luckily after a few (10 or 15) minutes of helplessly fiddling around with the unit the problem began to clear up on its own very quickly. No repair was needed. I hope this proves helpful to someone else.
