had this error in mid March, 2010. replaced door latch assembly. has been working fine until this morning. got the f8 again when I tried to initiate a self-clean cycle. now oven doesn’t work at all. keep getting the f8 on any cycle, even one not requiring a door latch. Had to depress cancel button multiple times to get it to quit beeping every 10 minutes. It has finally silenced itself after holding the cancel button for a few seconds. was going to turn off the power. dacor customer service not in today. very disappointed in this model. i don’t want to have to keep replacing this part every 8 months. my husband is a maint elect. and can follow repair and troubleshooting instructions. is there something else we may need to replace as well to keep this from happening again? the oven worked fine yesterday.
