DACOR RV30 Raised Vent Repair Questions??

Vent doesn’t raise, no lights on keyboard.

Just ordered replacement Control Board and Keyboard PCB from AppPartsPro.

  1. There are two black leads from Motor Drive to Control Board. Leads terminate in lower right corner of board onto L3 and N3. I may have gotten the two mixed up when troubleshooting. Since both black it is hard to tell. One has a bare metal slip-on connector. The other is insulated. Looking to see if I can find out which lead goes to L3 and the one that goes to N3??

  2. The Keyboard comes with a long ribbon cable and 14-pin connector on end. Looks like a very small hole, at the junction box for the Control Board, that the cable/connector threads through. Any suggestions on how to get new cable, from the top of the vent, through the hole??
