Don’t really understand your question,but
The defrost thermostat and the defrost timer, are two separate components, and located in different areas of the machine.
The thermostat is located on the evaporator, behind the back wall of the freezer.
The defrost timer, is located in the control panel,or the compressor compartment, on the back of the unit.
