Delicate is too hot

Maytag gas dryer, Legacy Series.

Unit operates fine, EXCEPT delicate runs the same temp (160F) as regular setting.

No lint blockages, exhaust tube clear.

Problem is persistent, but it does seem to heat properly sometimes.

I searched and didn’t see this problem in particular. Looking for advice on where to start parts-wise.

If the blower and blower housing is clear of lint build up then I would replace the thermostat.
