Washer control panel stuck on "rinse only" and "Sani Rinse" and is doing nothing. The lights for those two buttons are blinking on and off constantly. PLEASE ADVISE !!
Note: A couple of days ago the operations panel was stuck on "Control Lock," and one of your techs advised me to press and hold "Energy Saver Dry" and that unlocked the control board and we have been able to wash several loads of dishes since then with no hitches.
Most likely the problem is a stuck pad on the key panel. The correction is to replace the control panel. If you need the correct part number, post the color of the control panel.
Hello, I also had a blinking "Rinse Only" light so we replaced the control board. Then the "Normal" light began blinking and nothing else would work. So we replaced the control panel. It ran through the rinse cycle then stopped. Nothing works - no lights or anything. Could it be possible we blew the thermal fuse? I noticed we failed to replace the plastic shield that goes on the thermal fuse. Could that be the problem? Thanks so much!!

Yes, it is possible. All parts have to be installed as they were. You may want to check the thermal fuse for continuity.

My dishwasher stopped working a few days ago. The LED lights are lit and change when I select the different cycle types but the dishwasher doesn’t start when the START button is pushed. When the dishwasher is operating properly, the LED light flashes twice after the START button is pushed indicating that the cycle will start once the door is closed. This is no longer occuring. Presently, it does not flash twice after the START button is pushed and does not start upon closing the door. Thanks in advance for any advice you have. The problem sounds similar to that of prior posts
I’m ready to replace my fuse. The directions with the fuse are poorly written. After searching the web, I believe the new fuse needs to be relocated. Where? or just farther away than the original position?
And what does the mylar shield shield against?
My questions may be premature but it seems as though the directions are written poorly to confuse the homeowner DIY-er
Remove the bottom panel and locate the soil sensor (25 on the diagram). It is mounted on the sump assembly.
Unplug the dishwasher. Open the console and disconnect the keypad ribbon from the control board at P1. Plug the dishwasher back. With the door latched, disconnect and reconnect the sensor two times in less than 6 seconds.
Wait 10 seconds, then monitor the control’s response.
Listen for the dishwasher to begin filling after it concludes 5-10 seconds display test at the beginning of the service diagnostics test. If it does it, replace the control panel.
If it would not do it, the control board you installed is defective.
If you need the correct part number for the control panel, post the color of it.
