This dishwasher is only 1 1/2 years old and this is the second time it’s had a problem. Of course, warranty is only for 1 year. Last time I ran it, and have tried 2 more times, water does not heat and there is NO drying. I’m guessing it’s the heating element in the bottom of dishwasher (?), but when I enter the model number for the part, nothing comes up.

Measure it with a meter before replacing it. It should be around 30 ohms.
Note that there is also a thermostat in line with the heater.
It should be 0 ohms.
Could also be that the control board is shot.
