Dispenser panel is dead

I have a 5 yr old GE Refrig side by side PSS26LSRESS. Went to get ice from the dispenser and bam. Got 2 cubes and then all dispenser panel button lights went out and none of the bottons work or light up now. Refrigerator and freezer still work, just not the dispenser. I think it must be a circuit board, but not sure. Any way to tell before ordering. Is there a separate board for the dispenser or is everthing on the main board. Where are the boards located and how do you get to them/it? I appreciate any help. Thanks and HAPPY Thanksgiving.

Here’s a break down of the parts on your freezer door. Part #93 is the display, with the associated circuit board. With luck, you may find nothing more than a disconnected wire or connector.http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5218465

It’s either receiving power from the motherboard, and not working; or not receiving power from the motherboard at all. I have information for certain GE models, but not for yours. The trouble is that some of the voltages are AC, while others are DC. Not knowing what type of voltage to test for can be the death of a meter. I’ll keep searching for the correct service information for your unit.
