My wife was getting ice cubes; suddenly the control panel went dead…no lights, could not get ice or water. Replaced the Deispenser Control Board. Did not fix. Sounds to me like a "fuse" was blown and the board is not getting power. Unit still makes ice (must retrieve manually) and freezer and refrig seem working normally. Would appreciate any thoughts on this problem. Thanks.
Hello Bogeyfreerfk. Since the dispenser board is new, you will need to look at the main board in the unit. It supplies the power to the dispenser board. Before you replace it, make sure all your wiring is good on the unit. Check the wires where they go through the hinge on the unit. If all wires are good, then it sounds like the main board will need to be replaced. AP4436216
