Display,Oven,Broiler don't work - Loud Pop

My wife identified the sound as a loud pop. The circuit breaker tripped and I reset. There is no display on screen. No function from the touch buttons for oven or broiler. Surface elements work as the indicator lights. Oven light work, but that’s it. Am I looking at the an oven element replacement or the clock/control board replacement? Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks

You clock control burn’t out. It needs to be replaced. It is a quick, and easy repair. I had replaced one just like it on last friday. Your part # is 316207529 Tom http://www.applianceeducator.com/parts.htm

I very recently joined this forum and I can’t begin to say how much professional information here for us Do-it-yourself consumers. After reading all the replies about the malfunction with my Frigidaire Electric range, I purchased an EOC and removed the original and replaced with the new one. Buttoned everything back up, flipped the breaker and when I heard the suttle Beeps, I knew it was a job well done thanks to everyone here in this forum. I could have waited and order on line for around $152, but I checked around and found a supplier here in Maryland, Tribles Inc., that had them in stock for $210. No need to purchase the face-cover, they told me to use a hair-dryer and peel of the exisiting one and reuse.

Thanks
Morris

good job!!! Glad it worked out. Tom http://www.applianceeducator.com
