[LEFT][COLOR=#000000]My question is regarding a metal spring that sits on the center shaft and an O-ring that coincides with part #14839 found on the Transmission Diagram & Parts List found on your website. In cleaning the crud from around the center shaft I used a wire brush. Did this damage the O-ring? There is no O-ring or spring in the kits I purchased. Are they necessary to replace? Are there any other parts I might need that I am not aware of? Do I leave the spring in place, or do I remove it? Your professional guidance in this situation would be most appreciated. Thank You.
