my dryer has a "pull to start" knob incorporated into the timer. In order to make the dryer start, I have to pull hard and off to one side on the knob. Do I need a new timer? Also, I have removed the top control panel and located a tag on the timer that has a whole series of numbers and letters on it but can’t match it to any part number that I have found online. This tag reads 2295A Maytag 6 3720290 M285 Kingston 70770-A 01959 Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. tks
