when the dryer is running it makes a buzzing sound for a minuter or so, then it will stop. it does that off a on sometimes more or less.
I have replaced the rear rollers and found one of them was bad.but that didnt fix the buzzing problem.Should i replace the idler wheel, or the blower wheel. the blower wheel seemed to be on their tight.
Any helpl would be great ,thanks.

Adam,
Sounds more like a dryer motor issue. The running gear wouldn’t make a buzzing noise, but a bad motor winding could, as well as cause the motor to cease running. Or possibly a voltage drop, possibly due to a loose connection in the wiring to the dryer.
Thanks,

thanks for the advice i ll check it . i try to check the wiring.
i turn the dryer on with the drum out of it,and just let the motor run.
and it didnt make the buzzing noise. dont no if it is because the motor didnt have any strain aginst it.what do you think. the noise is coming from the motor or pulley couldnt really tell when i had it running. the shaft on the motor has some play on it in and out.

Adam,
If it’s not a high pitched squealing noise, or a clicking/ticking noise, not to worry about the idler or motor pulley. If that motor bearing is bad, it’ll fail and the motor will lock up, That would be the easiest way to go, for now.
Drop us a line, once it fails and let us know what you find.
