Dryer squeaks loudly after heating up.

When the dryer is working, it will start sqeaking loudly, as if something is out of aline. I have sprayed WD-40 onto the center bearing on the back of the dryer, to no avail. The belt seems to be tracking true around the drum and the drum isn’t wobbly. It starts off slightly sqeaking but gets louder as the drying continues.

Hi.

The noise you are describing is typical for the rear bearings or the front glides going bad. There is a small chance that the idler pulley is guilty one.
You need to take it apart and check.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=207165

The bearing kit WE25M40

The front slide kit WE25X60

The idler pulley WE12X81

Good luck. Post the results.

Simon.
