My gas dryer Whirlpool LGC6848AQ1 runs for a few minutes, sometimes longer, then stops (although the timer knob keeps advancing). It will restart immediately by jiggling the timer knob or by turning it completely around to re-set the time. Then it will run for a few minutes more, or maybe even the whole cycle. I suspect the timer needs replacing? Thanks.
