Dryer Wont Heat

The moderl number is LEN2000PW1 an electric dryer, I bought it 6 years ago, it started two days ago to dry for an extended amount of time, and today it stoped heating? I thought about the box heater, element heater and even the thermostat. Does anyone know or have any idea? I just dont want to go over and spend 400 to 500 on a new one, and problably find out it could have been something less expensive.

Your description of the symptoms leads to a clogged or restricted ventilation system. Check to make sure the vent is clear, from the dryer, all the way to the outside of the house. Next, tell us whether the motor still runs without heat; or you get nothing at all when you try to start it.
