DW has power but won't do anything

Dishwasher has been working fine for 5 years. It gets used about everyday or every other day. I went to use it and nothing works on control panel. No beeps or lights. The start light blinks about every 5-10 seconds. I have taken the bottom panel off and checked that I have 110 and I do. I am assuming it is the control panel. Is there anyway to check these out?

With the door closed and the light blinking, do you hear any noise?

No, No noise.

keep door closed, unplug the dishwasher, or turn the breaker off for 1 minute, and power back up, keep me posted

Unplugged for 3 minutes with door closed. I get same thing. Start/reset button blinks, 5 second delay, blink, 10 second delay, blink, keeps going on this pattern. I have tried holding the heat dry button to unlock panel but that didn’t do anything. No other lights are lit.

Nope that did nothing.

hang tight

door closed, push cookware or pots and pans, and heated dry together for 3-5 sec…make sure the lock light is off first

door panel is off

sorry…disconnect the ribbon cable and the white and black leads at the board

k, did that

Sweet, another one down  glad I could help

I replaced the capacitor and start switch. It still just hums and wont run. Can anyone please tell me the next step, I’m trying to save money by doing it myself. Thanks

My dryer stopped working ine night in the middle of a cycle. I checked the breaker box and it was fine. I replaced the timer assembly even though i knew it was getting juice figuring that a component may have been bad. After replacing the timer assembly, the dryer still will not turn on. What else could be wrong? The door switch seems fine and the belt looks brand new and the drum spins manually. I need help please.

I broke the off/on switch on my my GE oven. I purchased part number AP2022763 (Regulator pr) from your site and replaced it on my oven. With the new part installed my burners do not have as high of a flame as before. My low setting is barely even a flame and my high setting is about medium high compared to before the replacement. What am I doing wrong? The only change I made was changing the pressure regulator.

you need to replace the thermal fuse kit. the part # is la-1053 the thermal fuse is located on the right side of the heater housing up top. follow the 2 white wires, and they will lead to the thermal fuse. the kit, also comes with the the high limit thermostat, that is mounted just above the heating element. once you replace the parts, take the front of the dryer off, and clean the ton of lint that is down on the blower housing that is mounted to the front. let me know how it goes. tom %url%

Yes, either replace the parts in the ejector, or do what I alway do, and that is take the ejector assembly out, and run the hose from the water valve to the top of the tub directly. That way, you will never have the problem. Tom http://www.applianceeducator.com

What is the source of the gas you have the range connected to: LP or natural?

Is the gas shut off valve completely open?

Gene.

It is an LP range and yes, the gas control is wide open.
