After a power outage my Whirlpool range (model GS773LXSS0) is displaying "E1 F1" error code. I unplugged it for about 15-20 minutes and when I plugged it back in the same error code came on. I’ve read that replacing the ERC (Part # AP4355979)is the remedy, but before purchasing this piece I wanted to know:
1. Is this the likely problem?
2. How easy is it to replace?

According to the Tech sheet and Whirlpool instructions, the suggested correction is to replace the control board.
