this is a built in oven serial # XHO40100S in my Sons house. It displays error code E3 F2. We replaced the sensor # WPL 4451665. No change still still displays E3 F2. Looking for additional suggestions on what to replace or check next.
Could find nothing using the listed model number, please check it.
Did find some general info on Whirlpools
E2/F3 is a temp problem
E3/F2 is a keypad problem re: a shorted key
That model number is likely suppose to be R[SIZE="3"]B[/SIZE]S30[SIZE="3"]5[/SIZE]PD[SIZE="3"]Z[/SIZE]4
That error message is suppose to indicate a ‘stuck’ or shorted keyboard key which would usually require the control panel (see the links below) to be replaced.

The keypad itself is not available separately from the control panel asm.

I don’t blame him. It’s unfortunate that some replacement parts are so expensive that it makes repairing an appliance far from economical.
