I have a thermador electric cooktop. The problem is the halogen burner with dual elements will only work in the halogen mode. I have ordered and replaced the control switch with a new one. It did not solve the problem. I am reluctant to replace the element which is $247 DOLLARS. Do you think that the element is at fault.
