Hello,
My dryer has blown the hi limit fuse. I found the fuse blown and replaced it and a week later it blew again. Original symptom was no heat but after checking the fuse i knew it needed to be replaced. I ohm’d out the heater and the thermostat and they both seemed fine. I replaced it a second time now and the heater works fine or maybe too well it glows pretty red and I am not sure if the heater is just getting old and drawing too much current and blowing it or if the thermostat is the culprit. Does anyone have a suggestion?
