I have a FRFS2823AD1 model refrigerator, about 1 year old.
Initially the board on the Ice/Water dispenser was showing "Off" and I could not figure out how to turn it back on. Eventually the board went off all together, and nothing in the fridge appears to be working aside from the fan down in the freezer. Compressor is not coming on, lights are not coming on, Ice/Water dispenser is blank.
I thought it seemed like it would be a blown fuse somewhere in the fridge, but I haven’t been able to locate it. I do know the power interruption has to be happening after where the fan is powered, but have been unable to find electrical schematics for my fridge.
Does anyone have a clue what might be the problem here? Is the wiring inside the fridge severed? How do I go about fixing?
I ordered a used board that is located by the ice/water dispenser thinking that was the problem, but the new one is blank just like the old one was.
I have kind of guessed about where the electricity is coming into the board, and I’m not getting a charge on those wires.
