Electrolux will not fill with water

My dishwasher is not filling with water and I’ve been searching and troubleshooting this issue, but have hit the point where I need some help.

I made a rig to test the water inlet valve and float switch by plugging them into the wall. Inlet valve opens when it sees 120V and float switch shows 0V when "full" and passes 120V through when "empty", so those parts are fine. Also, obviously I checked the water supply and it’s fine.

The last thing I’ve done is check the incoming "hot" wire to the float switch and this is where the problem starts. I’m seeing like 1.5V from this and I assume it should be 120V. Basically, I’ve got no power coming from wherever that hot wire comes from.

When I select a cycle and close the door, the machine starts making noise and the pump is running, so it seems that my door switch is working properly. The motor does not start, but I assume it isn’t supposed to start until the actual washing begins?

From reading about dishwashers in general, it seems that if you don’t have power to the float switch, then you have a bad timer.
The problem is that I can’t find anything called a "timer" in the parts list for this dishwasher.

I haven’t gone any further with tracing the wire up into the door, so I’m hoping someone here can help me with where to look next.
Do I need to remove the door and trace the wire to where it comes from? Does it run straight from the mother board? If so, I assume the board is bad, but would like to figure out a way to determine exactly what’s wrong before I start throwing parts at it.
