I recieved error code F2 E6 and was told by Whirlpool to replace the the control board which I did.

After replacing that part thern I get error codes F2 E1. Which states that I have to replace the Keypad.

Is this out of the ordinary that both parts become defective at the same time? What would cause something like this? If I replace the keypad will this fix the problem or should I be looking for something else.

I would really like to order the parts so we can use the oven.

Check the conntectors to the keypad they sometimes get corrosion on thm causing the same effect.

It i possible that a power surge could have affected both parts. If memory serves…just check for continuity. I’ll try t do some research and see what I can find for you.
