First Error Code E0 F2 - Now error Code E1 F2

I bought this unit used (unit was never installed), got it home, wired it up and got these error codes. The first code (E0 F2) tells you to replace the keypad. The code now (E1 F2) suggests to replace the board. Does anyone know the part numbers (I don’t know what parts the "keypad" and "board" refers to) and price of these items?
Sincerely and Thankfully,
Pat

Hi Pat,

Open the control panel. Remove the keypad ribbon cable from the control board. Clean the edge connector with a pencil eraser. Check the tracks in the ribbon cable for a hairline tracks using a magnifying glass.

Clean the connector on the board using electronics contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol and a tooth brush. Be careful not to damage it. Let them dry. Reconnect everything and give it a try.

Gene,
I had already done this on both connectors (keypad and board) and checked continuity on all the leads through the ribbon cable - all are OK. I was hoping someone could lead me to either the touch keypad or the main board for replacement. I don’t know which one to try first and they’re both fairly exspensive.
My Sincerest Thanks for your time and advice,
Pat

Pat,

According to the tech sheet the first try should be the membrane switch (keypad). If you need the correct part number, post the color of it.

Jenn-air. Front dual burner clicks and goes on and off and on and off. Will not stay on.
How do you check to see if it is the switch or the element?
