F-7 Error Code

Oven Repair (including Ranges and Cooktops)

Oven control panel very dim and beeping. None of the oven functions work. It has been unplugged and plugged back in (no-joy). I can turn wrenches and screwdrivers but not much on diagnosing or using electrical testers. Any help would be appreciated.

So I replaced the part you suggested. It did make a difference:

The clock area lights up
The buttons work
The Oven warms up

However after a while the oven shuts off and F-7 lights up and starts beeping again.

Ocassionally "TIME" flashes

So now what?

Keypad errors can be either membrane or control panel. This part is the membrane keypad. Can you return the computer module being that it was not the problem?

Does this part already have the EOC in it? I am not sure if I can send it back. I can always try ********.

This model number SVE47600W shows a separate keypad with ribbon cable. Sorry about the incorrect diagnosis. The F7 on those types of ranges can be either part. My experience with those have mostly shown bad computers with the rare exception or two such as yours being the part I described above, the keypad assembly.
