F3 Code

Oven shows an F3code within seconds of turning it on. I changed the sensor and checked all the wiring but it still shows the code. Would changing the heating element fix this? Any other ideas?

Here are your parts

See the attachment for the tech sheet.

I am assuming that you have already removed power from the unit for several minutes when you replaced the sensor and the unit did not reset itself,.

Would changing the heating element fix this?
I doubt it. I cannot be 100% sure as I do not know how they sense an open oven sensor.
I would think they are just looking to see if there is a resistance so the element would not be part of this.

Carefully check where the sensor attaches to the control board for a cold solder joint etc.
While looking at the soled side of the board where the sensor connects gently wiggle the connector to see if it’s legs move in the solder. Also check for a cold solder joint on those pins they usually are a duller silver color and/or mat have pin holes. Take a close look at the copper tracks in that area to be sure one of them does not have a crack (open) across it.
A magnifying glass come in handy here.

If all OK the I would say that the problem is on the board.
