Freezer is Cold, Fridge is warm

A month ago the fridge stopped working, the freezer still has things frozen for over a month and is working fine.

  1. I was told it was the evap fan, I changed it and NOTHING. I then tested the old fan with a 9v battery and the old one still worked, so its not the evap fan.

  2. I then was told it was the thermistor in the fridge, I replaced that and NOTHING. The thermistor is working fine.

  3. I was then told it was the main board, I just replaced it and NOTHING. I will be returning it to appliancepartspros and putting the old one back in.

I will also mention, there are two temperature controls next to each other in the fridge area, one is for the freezer, one is for the fridge, they go from "0" to "9" and have a blue light illuminated the number. The blue light is off on the freezer portion, I don’t know if that is significant or not. When you take the fridge control from 9 down to 0 you can hear the condenser shut off. I left it off thinking that if it wasn’t cooling the fridge I might as well turn it down to 0. I left it over the weekend and came back and the FREEZER was now thawed, even though it was the fridge I turned down.

Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas on what to try next?
