my freezer is pooling water & then that water is freezing which then makes the water run down into the frig part. i understand i may have a blocked drain but i can’t find diagrams to show me where plug is. i’d like to fix myself if this is all the issue is. any help out there? i have no ice maker set up on this frig.
hi, don’t have an answer. Have the same problem with a Maytag. Still working on it and mine seems to say the shelves come out and then the back wall of the freezer compartment gets unscrewed to expose the drain tubing. This is a side by side model. Gonna work on it tomorrow. Only wiped and cleaned the compressor etc from the back today (which was definitely needed).
Maybe one of these sites will help you. My neice was the one who got a parts page with numbers explaining what each part was. It was from one of these two sites.
