Freezing Up

My Ge Profile Is Always Freezing Up, I Changed The Heater, And Main Board On Back, And Is Still Freezing Up, Help Me Please!!!

Did you replace the defrost thermostat,AP3796802, a small, round device clipped to the evaporator coils.

Ninety percent of the time, that’s your problem, second is the defrost heater.
You can confirm by temporarily shorting the wires to the thermostat, then force defrost with a jumper to the power connector on the motherboard.
Unplug fridg, remove the 3 pin power connector and note which pins go to the pc board pins def. and line. Put a jumper between the mating pins on the connector, then plug in the fridg, should now defrost

Thanks I Will Try That Tonight And Let You Know If It Works…

Do this test when the compressor is running and supplying power to the connector, just unplug fridg. first.

could you please walk me thru what to do to test the defrost heater just to be sure im doing it right?

Just as I said, temporarily short the wires that went to the defrost thermostat, make sure the fridg compressor is running, then remove the cover to the motherboard in back, locate the 3 pin power connector, unplug fridg, unplug connector and put a wire jumper between mating pins that go to the terminals marked line and def.
