Help! I’m a single female and recently moved into my own place after finishing nursing school. My fridge/freezer has been in storage about 6 months. We got it out over the weekend and moved Ito my new house. I plug it in and it sounds fine, but open the fridge or freezer and neither are cold. It’s been plugged in for 3 days now.
I did unplug for a few hours to see if anything would "reset" itself… No change. Can’t afford a new one or costly repairs at the moment! Any help greatly appreciated!

From your post I am assuming that you get no cooling at all in the freezer.
When you moved the unit did it stay upright. If not it should have been left unplugged for 24 hours at the new location.
So if it was put on it’s side or at angled unplug it for 24 hours.
The above assumes that the compressor is running.
Is the compressor running?
You can usually here it but should also be able to feel it vibrating.
Is the evaporator/freezer fan running?
Looking at the wiring diagram the compressor should be on whenever the evaporator fan is on.
There may be a problem with the given wiring diagram in that it shows a condenser/compressor fan but I cannot find one in the parts.
It was moved upright, only angled when they were getting it through the door into the house. The freezer nor fridge are cooling at all. I can hear it running like it should normally sound, just not cooling.
I would double check that the compressor is on.
If it is and you get no cooling then it is a sealed system problem.
This will be an expensive repair as you need a pro. Usually it makes more sense to put the dollars towards a new unit.

Pull the unit away from the wall.
Remove the lower rear cover.
You should be able to hear the compressor running.
Then put your hand on it and it should be vibrating.
