Hello,
My refridgerator tripped the household circuit breaker a couple of times and then was fine. Ice maker does not work since. Cycled ice maker manually and tripped breaker again. Should I replace ice maker or water control valve or both?

Mark,
Was the ice maker in the fill mode when the breaker tripped ?
We can have a better idea,of the problem, if we know when the breaker trips.
I just hope it’s not a shorted wire in the cabinet.
Any other information would be helpful, too.

I believe it probably was in the fill mode as at that time it was 100 degrees outside and people were getting ice often.
the second occurrence happened after I reset for a new cycle.
When the household breaker is reset it does not trip again.
