Frig f/load does not wash or spin

I have a 1999 Frigidaire Gallery front-load washer. On random occasions it will not spin out. Sometimes re-running the cycle will "fix" the problem. Often it has to sit idle for several hours or up to a day before it "fixes itself". Now, however, it is not running the actual wash cycle either ( in any of the settings) as well as not spinning. It fills and drains as normal but no wash action or spinning.

What are the most likely problems? And how do I tell?

Thank you for the suggestion.
It’s been a while so I will check that.
But since filling and draining are the two things it actually does at the moment, I’ll be surprised to find that to be the case.
It it’s not that, any other ideas?

Hi.

Check all connections at the main control board and machine control. Disconnect and reconnect all of them. Check the wire harness.
