I have a Frigidaire Affinity ATF7000FS0 that I bought in 2007.
Lately it just decides to stop mid cycle for no apparent rhyme or reason. I’ll start a load - doesn’t matter what setting. Sometimes it will run the entire cycle. Sometimes it will stop immediately. Most of the time I come back and the door lock light is solid but the door is not locked. I’ll open it up and there is still water in it. I cleaned out the pump filter and inspected the propeller in the pump. It seems okay. I took out the lock switch and tested it with a multimeter. I believe it is supposed to have 1500 ohms. Mine is consistently 1229 ohms. I watched some videos saying anything under 1500 ohms needs to be replaced. Some say it is fine.
In diagnostic mode it has pulled codes E45 then it pulled an E43 and then it pulled an E45 again which is a communication error. It says replace the control board. Which control board? The main control board? The Motor Control board? I think there are two main control boards?
My questions are:
If my door switch is reading 1229 ohms instead of 1500 does that mean it is faulty? What part number would that be?
If not, which control board do I need to replace? What part number would that be?
