Daughter called and said the oven is not working but everything else is. Before I head over there (50 miles), what should I be looking for? I am an engineer so I am pretty handy (believe it or not!).
Thanks,
Tony

Tony,
Remove the Bake heating element, remove the wires from its terminals and check the heating element for continuity. Replace if it’s open.
Check for 240 VAC between those wires while the control calls for Bake. If there is no proper voltage, replace the ERC (aka a clock). It has to be replaced together with overlay because it’s glued to the clock.
