Fridge side has been freezing food and water lines to water filter.
I read a few replies from Gene on another post Stating to adjust freezer to 4 and fridge to 1. This did help but what is the problem and how can I fix it? I did hear the door closing and confirmed with my hand that it stopped blowing air in the fridge from the small vent from within the fridge side. Any help would be Appreciated.

Are there any specific tests I can do before I buy the part?
If the temperature control adjustment helped to eliminate the problem then there is nothing wrong with the refrigerator.
