The dryer won’t dry thoroughly. THe unit starts up fine, burner lights and then after shart period there is some buzzing from the gas valve area and the burner shuts down. The buzzing continues several times intermittently maybe every minute or so. Do you think I have a burner issue or has the thermostat failed ? The other thing I thought is that the ignitor is not working properly. (Flame detection)
Replace the coils on the gas valve, if they are available. If not you would have to replace the whole gas valve. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
Just ordered part no. wr51x10101 (defrost heater) from you. I know that the double element replaced the single element, but I am not sure it will fit. It is larger than the one I am replacing. Is there some advice you can give me. Thanks.
