Ok I’ve read most of the posts on this site but I’m actually trying to see if
there is anyway that i can get a description a better break down on how to approach the no heat to my gas dryer situation. the ignitor glows for about ten seconds but the flame doesn’t come on at all i replaced the coils and still no luck thermostats are good sensor is good though i havent checked the thermo-fuse i tried to look for it in the parts section a but run to a dead end, do they even make a thermo-fuse for this dryer or are they just on some dryers. And if so where would the thermo-fuse be located, along with the heating element. My last question is if the gas valve is gone how would i check that and whats its function
Usually check the igniter current with an amprobe, rather rare a valve goes bad. Igniter current must be greater than 3 amp for the square ones.
I have a multimeter is that fine and can check it with that, thats orginally how i checked the ignitor at first. also would you be able to tell me where the thermo-fuse is at on this model does it even have one and if not should i check the heating element.
Check the flame sensor near the igniter, must be initially shorted.
