Jotto,
This should be a gas dryer(heat source).
Have you removed the 1x1 plastic cover in the front panel and observed the ignition procedure ?
You do have gas supplied to the unit ?
When you remove the inspection cover, and look inside, you should see:
An orange glow, from the glowbar igniter,
In a few seconds, you should hear a click, and the glow bar igniter should start to fade.
At the same time the igniter starts to fade, you should be able to see the burner flame ignite,
*** Make sure a temperature selection is made and the timer dial is in a heat mode ( I usually set the dial on timed dry, at the 30 minute mark).***
Let us know what you observe, and we can get you on the correct path to repair your dryer.
Thanks,
