For the past half year or so we have noticed our gas oven taking longer and longer to heat up with the food taking twice as long or longer to cook at what we set the temperature to. Tonight it took over an hour for the oven to reach the preset temperature of 400. Did some investigating…took the bottom panel off, turned on the oven, igniter turned a bright orange but no flames from the gas burner. After looking through several similar posts I’m wondering if the igniter needs to be replaced even though it is glowing. Is that the most likely source of my problem. TIA.
