I have a GE DRSR483ED1WW electric dryer that will run but will not heat up. I did some research and found a list of usual suspects to check. I took it a part and removed the heating element and tested it for continuity as well as the thermostats and thermal fuse. All check fine for continuity. I am getting 240v at the plug where it screws onto the back of the dryer. I thought for sure the heating element would be bad so I bought another one from ********. It test fine and the dryer still does not heat up. What should I check next? Anyone ever run into this sort of thing before? There really doesn’t seem to be much else in the way of sensors inside this thing other than an thermo on the blower motor and it must be good as it runs fine. Could the switch be bad? It has a selctor switch for high, med, low and no heat? Is there a way to test/jump this switch to see if its bad? Thanks -Jason
